Nick Candy


Nick Candy – a British entrepreneur first invested in Candy Ventures back in 2015. Best known for his background in luxury real estate and for co-founding world-leading interior design firm Candy & Candy. The company’s most high-profile project was the globally celebrated One Hyde Park residential development in London, which revolutionised the property market worldwide and set unparalleled new standards in luxury design and living.

In 2015, Nick diversified his interests outside of real estate and established Candy Capital; a family office based in London to manage his personal business interests and companies.

Candy Ventures is run by Steven Smith from its offices in Luxembourg.

Steven Smith


After achieving an honours degree in Commerce from the University of Liverpool, Steven qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BDO and subsequently as a Chartered Tax Adviser whilst at KPMG. He lectured in Taxation at FTC for four years and then held a number of senior financial positions at large Public and Private Groups culminating in him being appointed as CFO of a FTSE 250 company.

For the last 18 years Steven has been a close adviser to Nick Candy and he currently runs Candy Ventures Sarl from its base in Luxembourg.
